According to his wife Dee Dee Benkie, the "Good Fellows" actor (father of actress Mira Sorvino) died of natural causes at the age of 83 on Monday.

Who is Paul Sorvino?

Paul Sorvino was an American actor, singer, businessman, and writer. He was born on 13th April 1939, in Brooklyn, New York City, New York, the United States. He was best known for his role as Paul Cicero in the 1990 gangster movie Goodfellas, and later played the role of NYPD's Phil Sereta in the legal drama television series "Law & Order." He played supporting roles in touch of Class, Reds, The Rocketeer, The Cooler, Nixon, and Romeo + Juliet. He was the father of actors Mira Sorvino and Michael Sorvino. He has also won several awards, including the 2011 Lifetime Achievement Award and the 2015 and 2016 Action on Film Awards. In 2007, Sorvino founded Paul Sorvino Foods, selling a range of pasta sauces. Prior to the screening of his film "Once Upon A Time in Queens" at the Florida Film Festival in Orlando, Florida in April 2014, Paul Solvino rhymed and metrical poetry as an example. Prior to his role in film and television, he worked as a copywriter at an advertising agency. He made his film debut in Carl Reiner's "Where's Daddy?" Starring George Segal and Ruth Gordon.

Paul Sorvino is best known for playing Paulie Cicero in the 1990 mobster classic Goodfellas. Paul Sorvino died on July 25, 2022,  at the age of 83, at Maya Clinic in Jacksonville Florida. 

No specific cause of death was provided, but Sorvino`s publicist said that he "had dealt with health issues over the past few years". Roger Neal, his publicist, said he died of natural causes at his home in Indiana. He is survived by his wife and three children.
