  • Alycia Baumgardner kicks off her career by winning the welterweight silver medal at the 2014 National Golden Gloves tournament after which she went one better at the 2014 U.S. National PAL Championships by claiming the lightweight gold medal.

  • Later Matchroom Boxing announced her first fight in April 2022 under the promotion to take place on 16th April against former unified featherweight world champion Edith Soledad Matthysse at the Manchester Arena. The bout was Alycia's first title defense.
