Darwin Núñez is a Uruguayan professional footballer. Currently, he plays as a striker for the Primeira Liga club Benfica. At the international level, he represents the Uruguayan national team. He was called up to the full international side for the first time in October 2019. He won Cosme Damião Awards as the Footballer of the Year in 2021.
