  • Starting her career in sports media, Ofira Asayag served as a sideline reporter at the Israel Broadcasting Authority between 1996 and 2002, contributing to the radio program "Songs and Goals" and covering televised football and basketball matches.
  • Transitioning to Channel 2 in October 2002, Asayag's dual roles were cut short by a legal dispute with the Broadcasting Authority, resulting in her unsuccessful lawsuit against them. 
  • Within Channel 2, she hosted the sports segment on the morning show "Cafe Talad" alongside Yardena Arazi and Dov Gil-har. 
  • She ventured into online sports journalism in 2000, joining the ONE sports website as a flash reporter before becoming the coordinator and subsequently content manager, overseeing the "Glitch" section focused on sports gossip.
