Demetria Devonne Lovato, professionally known as Demi Lovato is an American singer, songwriter, and actress. She comes to light for starring in the "Camp Rock" movie as Mitchie Torres and for her role as Sonny Munroe in the Disney sitcom “Sonny with a Chance" from 2009 to 2011. She started playing piano at the age of seven and guitar at ten, when she began dancing and acting classes. Subsequently, she began her acting career on the children's television series "Barney & Friends", portraying the role of Angela.
