Rodion Amirov was a Russian professional ice hockey player. His playing position was forward. He played with Salavat Yulaev Ufa in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). Chosen 15th overall by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the first round of the 2020 NHL Entry Draft, he, unfortunately, missed the entire 2022–23 season due to ongoing treatment and recovery. Demonstrating his commitment, he prolonged his association with Salavat Yulaev, entering a one-year loan agreement from the Maple Leafs for the forthcoming 2023–24 season on May 10, 2023. Tragically, on August 14, 2023, Rodion Amirov's passing was conveyed by his agent, Dan Milstein, through a Twitter statement.
